First Round Playoffs: Dramatic Victory

Dispite being down 3-1 early in the second half, the Flames staged a thrilling comeback and held on for the win. Paul Luini got the Flames on the board with pp goal in the first. Then Bryan Cobb made it 3-2 in the 2nd. Cobb then set up Cardaccio tying the game at 3. Walter Heid put the Flames ahead with two goals putting the Flames in front 5-3. The Flames and Jared NiCastro held on for the win.

CORCORAN OUT FOR 6 MONTHS: Flames defenseman Brian Corcoran has been suspended for two seasons as he shot the puck at a goaltender towards the end of a Wednesday night game. Way to go cork.

FLAMES DROP OPENER TO FAT KIDS: Joe Cardaccio scored four goals leading the charge but it would not be enough in the end as Paul Luini could not backstop the Flames efforts as they fell 10-8.

FLAMES GRILL NATIONALS 10-9: Walter Heid tallied 5 goals to lead the charge for the depleted Flames in a 10-9 win over the tough Hebrew Nationals. Cobb netted three and Corcoran a pair.
